Its been already 3 months I did not update my blogs, but now here I am making some articles again that will help you out guys. Actually this post is all about this f***king virus that affect my computer and it took me 1 week on how to resolved this one.
Where I got this virus named virus.win32.sality.aa? When my sister working making test paper for their coming 3rd preliminary exam she insert her USB then I was sleeping on that time then she wake me up and told me that the computer was affected by a virus. I got alarm and check the computer quickly then I found out that there is something wrong with my folder options coz when I try to “show all hidden files” then click ok the files which is hidden have shown, but if I open any folder on my drives my folder options will automatically go back to do “not show all hidden files”.
I google my problem on my folder options, but all of the suggested ideas was not completely help me to figure out the virus. Then when I try to put the USB again the file autorun.inf which is detected by my USB guard was not deleted on that time then I delete it manually then it state error “cannot delete the files coz it has been used by other programs” . The next thing I do is check the autorun.inf then I open it using notepad it displays 2 or 3 think which is file format .exe, I though it was the virus then I search it on my computer still nothing happen. This virus cause me a lot of problem coz everytime I insert any usb or flash drive the virus automatically install into it.
How do I remove the virus?
I install Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 and scan all my drives then it detects virus name virus.win32.sality.aa the one who manipulated my folder options. It is also the one who install virus on the usb or flash disk I insert on my pc.
